Program

NextUp Walk-in Alerts. When you join a business's walk-in line through NextUp (a barbershop, salon, auto service or repair shop, for example) and choose to give your mobile number, we text you about your place in that line.

How you opt in

On the business's NextUp join page (reached from a QR code at the business, or a link on its website or social media), you enter your name and, optionally, your mobile number, then check a box that reads:

"Text me about my spot in line at [Business name]. Up to 2 texts per visit. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

The box is unchecked by default, and joining without a phone number is always allowed. You can't join with a phone number unless you check it.

What we send and how often

  • Up to 2 messages per visit: a confirmation when you join, and an alert when it's your turn.
  • Example: "Main Street Studio: You're #3 in line, about 40 min. We'll text you when it's your turn. Your spot: https://app.nextupwalkin.com/q/… Reply STOP to opt out."
  • Example: "Main Street Studio: You're up! Please head to the front now."
  • No marketing or promotional messages, ever.

Cost

NextUp doesn't charge for texts. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.

Opting out and help

  • Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You'll get one confirmation and nothing more.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email support@nextupwalkin.com.

Other terms

  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Wait times are estimates. Please stay nearby as your turn approaches.
  • Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share your mobile number or opt-in consent with third parties for marketing purposes.
